We are even exploring a route where you earn instead of pay: a small advertising box on your loyalty page, only if you approve it, with a share of the revenue for you. Is the free staff really free?
Yes. Your digital team, which brings back lapsed customers, proposes campaigns, drafts your posts and review replies and answers your questions about your numbers, is free forever. Every morning you approve everything with one click. Larger shops will later be able to choose Pro (€19/month), which runs it all unlimited and automatically, but what you use today stays free.
Is BLOK really free?
Yes. The complete loyalty card without an app is free forever: unlimited customers and visits, no trial period that expires, no credit card and no hardware to buy. Not “free until we've got you”, just free, forever.
What does the Pro version cost?
Pro is coming soon and will cost €19 per month. It adds extras: all your digital employees unlimited, campaigns announced to your customers automatically, and help from real people. What you use today stays free in any case; whoever starts for free hears about it first when Pro becomes available.
Can I get Pro for free?
Yes, by earning it. BLOK uses its own loyalty card on its merchants: every shop has its own BLOK card in the dashboard and earns points for the things that make a loyalty card work, like creating your first reward, opening your QR poster, your first ten customers with points and referring another shop. With 100 points you redeem a month of Pro, with no credit card. Afterwards you simply continue on the free plan. That way you taste every Pro extra while the basics stay free. The smaller rewards are an extra reward slot and mail credits.
How does BLOK make money if the basics are free?
From the shops that want more than the basics. A Pro plan (€19/month) is coming soon for shops that want everything to run unlimited and by itself. Will there be advertising on my loyalty page?
Only if you choose it. We are exploring a small advertising box on the loyalty page, but it is off by default and never appears without your approval. If you switch it on, you share in the revenue: BLOK can then earn you money instead of costing money. Your customers' data is never sold, and we never set shops against each other: a competitor from around the corner will not be advertised on your page.
Are there hidden costs or setup fees?
No. No setup fee, no terminal or device to buy, no €50-a-month platform subscription. All you need is a phone or a screen you already have, and the poster with the QR code that you print for free.
Do I have to enter a credit card to start?
No. You create your free account without a credit card and without a contract. You are live in about five minutes and you can stop at any time. There is nothing to uninstall.
Do the basics stay free, or will I have to upgrade to Pro one day?
The basics stay free, forever. That is a promise. Upgrading to Pro will soon be an option for larger shops that want the extra automation, and future pay-per-use extras will always be a free choice. You are never obliged to pay to keep using your loyalty card.
